Step 1: Choose your tulip mat colors
Before you begin, choose colors for your tulip mat. Traditionally, tulips are red, but you can choose any color you like. In this pattern, we’ll use color A for the petals of the tulips, color B for the center of the tulips, and color C for the bottom of the mat.
Step 2: Make the initial chain
